As you can see here, the thermostat icon is clearly visible and I can toggle through my thermostat icons from smart to off or to on. Icons there. We’re ready to change the batteries, so I take one battery out to simulate changing the batteries. If I had my finger on the thermostat button when putting the last battery in, it’s going to completely clear the thermostat icon. No matter what you do, it’s not going to come back unless you reverse the procedure. So, it’s really very simple. If you clear your thermostat icon, all you have to do is take one battery out, put your finger on the thermostat button, and put the battery back in. The thermostat function should be back. Simple as that.
