If I press the on button on the remote, will my unit immediately come on?
A lot of people expect a gas appliance, when they hit the power button, for it to immediately come on. Well, on an electronic device, it takes a few seconds for that pilot to initialize and then light, because the pilot hasn't been in the standing pilot position. Once the burner knows that the unit has the pilot on then the flame will come on. This process can take up to 60 seconds in total. Please refer to your manual for additional remote use instructions.
